We carefully crafted the traditional taste of Kawagoe, simmering the sweet potato down to a rich syrup, and mixing it into the dough. Then, it is fried creating a nostalgic "karintou" sweets. Historically, "Potato even tastier than chestnuts" was a phrase used to describe the taste of Kawagoe's sweet potatoes. Each piece is handmade with our desire to convey this delightful taste in this present day.
